The Federation of Industries of the State of Bahia (FIEB), through the Brazilian Network of International Business Centers (CIN Network), in partnership with the Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI) and Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), organizes the International Matchmaking as part of the Brazil- Economic Meeting (EEBA) 2025, in a hybrid format.

The International Matchmaking will take place within the framework of the Brazil- Economic Meeting (EEBA), offering a qualified business opportunity environment to establish meaningful connections between Brazilian and German companies. The goal is to promote concrete business, encouraging bilateral cooperation and investment for the economic development of the countries.

The initiative will be multisectoral, encoming sectors such as Food and Beverage, Personal Care, Home and Decoration, Petrochemical, and Renewable Energy. The round will occur in a hybrid manner, allowing for both in-person and virtual participation, which facilitates access and engagement without geographical barriers.

Conducted in the context of EEBA, the round will take place in a space designed to maximize interactions between companies and international buyers, integrating cutting-edge technology to ensure significant business deals. This format reinforces the commitment to accessibility and innovation, promoting solid and sustainable partnerships.

The business rounds aim to connect international buyers with Brazilian companies, promoting the realization of sustainable business and exploring new investment opportunities and strategic collaboration. This format allows for the creation of a conducive environment for developing effective and innovative partnerships, strengthening trade exchange between nations.

At the time of registration, your company must choose the form of participation in the business round: in-person or virtual.

Note: Accommodation and travel expenses are the participant's responsibility.

Requirements for participation:   

• Being a Brazilian industry that produces and/or sells products in sectors such as food, cosmetics, home, petrochemicals, renewable energy, sustainable civil construction, among others, formally established and regularized with the competent authorities regarding the products marketed; 

• Being an exporter or potential exporter; 

• Having a price list for export;  

• Having a website or profiles on social media;    

• It is desirable to have promotional materials or a bilingual website;  

• It is desirable to have certifications that ensure quality, safety, traceability, and authenticity of labels.

The Brazil- Economic Meeting (EEBA)

The Brazil- Economic Meeting will take place on June 16 and 17, 2025, at Senai Cimatec, organized by the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), the Federation of German Industries (BDI), and the Federation of Industries of the State of Bahia (FIEB).

The agenda will cover energy transition, decarbonization, mining, agribusiness, infrastructure, and circular economy, including technical visits to Cimatec Park and a Business Meeting. The objectives are to strengthen bilateral partnerships, discuss investments, improve the business environment, facilitate commercial relationships, and promote networking.

The target audience includes Brazilian and German companies, sector associations, investors, and government authorities.
